‘American Eagle Luger’. Modeled after the 1929 swiss pattern. Post-war commercial production toggle lock recoil operated semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger, manufactured in Germany by Mauser-Werke A.G. Oberndorf, circa 1970-1978. Imported by Interarms of Alexandria, Virginia with import stamp on the right side of the barrel extension. Features a blued finish with straw colored small parts & American Eagle crest to top of the breech, 6" barrel, dovetailed inverted 'V' serrated ramp front sight, 'U' notched rear sight, smooth crescent trigger, knurled charging knobs on the rear toggle link, manual safety of the left side of the frame, grip safety, knurled push button magazine release, 8 round magazine with black plastic base, steel frame with straight profile front strap, and two-piece checkered wood grips. Bore is pristine. Pistol retains all of its original blued finish. Straw colored parts are near excellent. Grips are pristine. Action is excellent, matching serial numbers. Includes the original factory two-piece cardboard box with matching label, spare magazine, cleaning rod, take-down tool, manual and factory test target. Box lid is distressed - broken at the two front corners.
